It was a full-circle week for my “The Day After” co-host, The Voice finalist Jeffery Austin, as he was once again upstaged by Jordan Smith, when Jordan’s Season 9 Christmas song ended up in the Voice holiday best-of special instead of Jeffery’s iconic “O Holy Night.” And then, Jeffery’s Season 9 finale duet partner, Tori Kelly, turned out to be the Seahorse on The Masked Singer!

The week was eventful in other ways, with half of the Voice and Masked Singer contestants (Tori among them, incredibly) going home all at once — and one of those Voice contestants, Ryan Gallagher, going home under mysterious circumstances, before the public’s four-way Knockout vote was even revealed.
