It was an honor to chat with Voyage LA about my childhood in the San Fernando Valley in the shadow of the Sherman Oaks Galleria and the Sunset Strip; being raised on MTV and great local radio stations; getting my start with my fanzine and LAUNCH.com; and how I’ve managed to survive in the volatile music and journalism industries.
