At the South by Southwest festival in Austin this week, I had the honor of moderating two fascinating panels,  “The Transformation of Music Sync: When the Songwriter Becomes the Screenwriter,” with CAA agent Stephanie Langs, Calle 13′s Eduardo Cabra, Warner Chappell Music’s Rich Robinson, and pop songwriter Justin Tranter (pictured above), and “Fan-First Solutions for Fair Ticketing in Live Entertainment” with DICE’s Russ Tannen, NIVA’s Dayna Frank, and Newport Festivals Foundation’s Deb Girard.
