Watch the replay of Musicians for Fire Relief

On Thursday, March 6, at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET, Musicians for Fire Relief, a livestream fundraiser benefiting members of the Los Angeles music community affected by this year’s devastating wildfires, took place. If you missed the show, it is available now for replay!

This virtual event in partnership with the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund (which you can rewatch in the video player above, on Nugs.net, or on musiciansforfirerelief.com) featured performances or appearances by some of my favorite artists, like Butch Walker, Margaret Cho, Travis, and the Cure co-founder Lol Tolhurst. The show also included moving and candid interviews I conducted with several members of the music industry who lost their homes in the fires: Griffin Goldsmith of Dawes, Marko DeSantis of Sugarcult, Diane Warren, Altadena Musicians founder Brandon Jay, Lesley Zimmerman, and Chris Pack.

I was deeply honored to be a small part of this important event. The many people involved with Musicians for Fire Relief, behind and in front of the scenes, were incredibly generous with their time, their talent, their donations for the auction, etc.
