The Day After Podcast with Jeffery Austin: Thanksgiving Week

Published On November 29, 2020 » By »

As this truncated The Voice season hurries along, my “The Day After” co-host, Voice Season 9 top four finalist Jeffery Austin, and I are already assessing the final Knockout Rounds and looking ahead to next week’s top 17 Live Playoffs. Ironically, Season 19 is a talent-packed season that we would have liked to have gone a lot longer — but the coronavirus ruined that, just as it ruined everything else this year. But at least we have three more weeks of The Voice Season 19 and The Masked Singer Season 4 to distract us from our troubles, and we are thankful for  that. We’re also thankful for all of our listeners, whom we wish a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.

Join us as we deep-dish about The Voice and The Masked Singer – preceded by a conversation about ex-Voice coach Miley Cyrus’s awesome new rock record Plastic Hearts, ex-Team Miley contestant Chloe Kohanski, and I Love New York, and sprinkled liberally with Jeffery’s own memories of The Voice Season 9. (Yes, that’s right — Jeffery’s season was FIVE years ago!)

Special thanks to our Season 6 American Idol pals Blake Lewis and Brandon Rogers for our funky theme song, which makes a perfect Christmas carol! And if you prefer the written word, check out my Reality Rocks articles on Yahoo Entertainment here.
